May i be the first to say that i am glad you are unwell,
as this has given you some time to write your excellent blog.
I have followed it from yesterday, and like a good book cant wait to bite the next page.
( i hardly ever read books, i just like looking at pictures which is why i love art.).
It was a jolting piece you created, like those giant oceans, swells from hell.
it has created a strange luminosity of darkness in all that took part.
“In all that took part” is the essential in the piece for me. An act , a moment now on film,
and now left words trying.
It’s 172 hours since you did your piece, i am still in that loft with you.
To me the piece recounts feelings and personal actions, as they are being slowly eroded,
feelings are almost a thing of the past.
It reminded me of my regular shopping trips to buy food in particular meat,
where meat in polystyrene, and cling film remove me from all anxiety and guilt as to how the process,
and final execution of the animal is not mine but tesco’s.
Your piece reversed this role, crashing me into consequences.
I dont know if much of this makes sense….
Thank you for your great show.
Mario Borza.
